However, it is known that institutions such as primary school, middle school and high school, which gave more modern education than the two institutions mentioned, were established in the 19th century. Especially these institutions, which were built intensively during the reign of Second Abdülhamid, were inherited by the Republic upon the collapse of the empire. However, the intellectuals of the Republic quickly realized the insufficiency in education despite these intense construction activities in the 19th and 20th centuries. In the Republican ideology, which aimed one hundred percent literacy, it was targeted to transfer education even to the most remote corner, and it was thought that this goal could be realized quickly only by building a school in every village. At the beginning of this study, education policies and reforms of the Early Republican Period were briefly mentioned, then the basic infrastructure of school construction and building types were emphasized, and thereafter six school structures from Denizli, which were examples of these building types, were introduced. Inferences and documents about the dates and architectural details of these structures, and to whom their original designs belonged were presented, and evaluations were made in terms of design and facade installation with examples from all over the country.
