Özet:
Streak,
redding, yellowing, mosaic on the leaves, reduction on root growth and stunting
were observed on the corn plants in corn growing area in 2001-2003 in Cukurova
Region. At the end of three years survey in the corn plantation area severals
samples were tested by DAS ELİSA against to several corn virus diseases and was
concluded that Maize Dwarf Mosaic Virüsü (MDMV), Maize Mosaic Virüsü (MMV),
Maize Stripe Virus (MSpV), and Barley Yellow Dvarf Virus (BYDV), are causal
organism of corn plants in our Region. İnfection rate of MDMV, BYDV MSpV and
MMV were determined %8,04 % 4,8, %1,8 and % 1,6 ile respectively. BYDV is first
report on corn however MSpV is first
recorded plant virus diseases in Turkey.
cDNA was amplified by RT-PCR by
using total RNA from MDMV infected corn plants. cDNA was multiplied with
primers and the PCR products were run in electrophorisee The DNA band was found
as a 670 bp on the gel.
