Wisdom is defined as "adding experience and intuition to a situation, applying knowledge with empathy and compassion ". The wise person has superior features such as interpreting information and using intuitions, at the same time the wise person has the say in the field and the decision authority. The studies on teaching wisdom in the nursing literature are limited. In Turkey, there was no course about caring behaviors. In the Improvement of Caring Behaviors, we aimed that 1) to create a learning environment based on interactions of graduate and manager nurses progressing towards researcher specialization, 2) to allow nurses to clarify their grounded knowledge, and 3) to define and name the nursing caring behaviors.

In the application courses, a two hour laboratory consisting of clinical scenario written by the graduate students and manager nurses and standardized patient simulation is being performed. Caring behaviors are clarified by pre-briefing before each simulation and after debriefing. The course "Development of Care Behavior" based on Care Science, Philosophy and "Student-Nurse Interaction" was designed by instructors as " A Route to Wisdom From Data”
