Özet

In a study performed to determine S100A8/A9 and coexpression of Gr1 in metastatic breast carcinoma, we found that that tumor-derived factors may increase S100A8/A9-positive cells locally and systemically. We also showed that S100A8/A9 positive cells were increased in metastatic lesions. S100A8/A9-positive cells may be an appropriate milieu for the formation of metastasis and may be used to predict the metastatic potential of primary breast tumors.
