Abstract

© 2022 Elsevier LtdFebrile infection-related epilepsy syndrome (FIRES) is a rarely observed and destructive syndrome progressing with resistant seizures or refractory status epilepticus. In this report we present in a treatment procedure with plasmapheresis of a pediatric patient with FIRES and currently unknown etiology in order to contribute to the literature.
