Abstract

In tourism and travel literature, service quality and perceived value variables, and their influences on customer satisfaction are widely examined by the academicians especially after 1960s. However, some specific service encounters such as daily tours at the destinations and perceived value of the tourists from these experiences have been an ignored area of research so far. Therefore, there is a need of research which examines the daily tour service attributes and their influence on tourists’ perceived value. In this study, service attributes of a daily yacht tour and their influences on perceived value are analyzed by using 1122 data obtained from the Russian tourists in Antalya, Turkey. Descriptive statistics show the general profile of yacht tour participants as middle aged (between 31-40 years old) female tourists (71,2 %), who prefer to stay at the hotel between 8-14 days. Besides, analysis results indicated the role of various attributes on perceived value of the tourists.
