Özet

Free vibration analysis of microtubules (MTs) is presented based on the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory. The size effect is taken into consideration using the Eringen's non-local elasticity theory. The governing differential equations for MT vibrations are being solved using the Differential Quadrature (DQ) method. Numerical results are presented to show the effect, of nonlocal behavior on the frequencies of MTs. It is hoped that tin: results in the manuscript may present a benchmark in the study of vibration for microtubules.
