The Programme in short
Who developed and run the programme: The program is developed and run by Lund University Centre for Environment and Climate Science (CEC) and Lund University Commissioned Education (LUCE), in collaboration with Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights (RWI), and Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions International (SALAR Int.).
Program focus: How can co-design create more inclusive public spaces and municipal services supporting the development of more inclusive, sustainable and resilient cities and societies.
Point of departure: Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 11 - Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.
The programme consists of three parts: Part I -online educational module, Part II -a workshop in the home country and, Part III -finalizing and presenting change projects including a final online conference.


The purpose of the programme is to increase the capacity of local actors (municipal officials, local politicians, NGO, academia, and local business) to co-design inclusive public environments and local services, supporting the development of sustainable and resilient cities and societies.


The aim is to empower individuals, representing actors being active at local (municipal level) to collaborate and promote more inclusive and sustainable urban spaces and services.
