Organized by Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), the 8th International Conference on Material Strength and Applied Mechanics (MSAM 2025) will be held in Shenzhen, China on July 11-14, 2025. Over the past seven years, MSAM conference has successfully convened in various cities around the world, including Győr, Hungary (MSAM 2024); Macau (MSAM 2023) and Qingdao (MSAM 2022), China; Kiev, Ukraine (MSAM 2019); and Kitakyushu, Japan (MSAM 2018), as well as through virtual platforms during the global pandemic (MSAM 2020-2021). The conference has brought together leading scholars, engineers, and industry professionals to present and discuss cutting-edge research and practical applications in material strength and applied mechanics. MSAM 2025 will provide a great opportunity for global scholars and engineers from academia and industry to present and discuss the latest analytical, experimental, and computational advancements in material strength and applied mechanics, fostering a closer connection between theoretical physics and practical technological applications.
