Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to determine the learning management system (ALMS) used by undergraduate and associate degree students who take compulsory common courses through distance and learning management system (ALMS) in the 2020-2021 Academic Year Fall Semester at Akdeniz University, The aim of this study is to examine it within the scope of perceived usefulness, satisfaction, confirm and continuance intention variables in the information systems expectation confirmation model (ECM-IT). As a result of these examinations, the relationships between the variables that affect the students' continuance intention LMS continuously were interpreted and inferences were made about their intention to continue using LMS, which is an information system. In the Fall Semester of the 2020-2021 Academic Year, 22485 students take common courses through the learning management system. During the data collection process, the measurement tool was sent to 22485 participants as a message via ALMS, and feedback was received from 770 participants. "Foreign Language I", "Turkish Language I", "Ataturk's Principles and History of Revolution I" and "Use of Information Technologies" are courses taken remotely via the learning management system. In order to get the opinions of the students, the "Opinion Questionnaire on Examining the Distance Education Process within the Scope of the Information Systems Expectation Confirmation Model" was used as a data collection tool. The questionnaire used was created by adapting the questionnaire questions in the studies that have proven validity and reliability in the literature. The item analyzes and factor analyzes of the research were carried out with the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method through Microsoft Office Excel 2016, SPSS 23.0 (The Statistical Packet for The Social Sciences), and AMOS 24.0 package programs. In this study, which examines the distance education system used by undergraduate and associate degree students who take joint courses at Akdeniz University remotely and through the Learning Management System ALMS, within the scope of expectation validation model, relational survey model, one of the quantitative research models, was used. As a result of the research, 4 hypotheses in accordance with the designed research model were tested and all were accepted. As a result of the analyzes carried out, it has been determined that the factors of confirm and perceived usefulness affect the satisfaction factor, the confirm factor affects the perceived usefulness factor, and the satisfaction factor affects the continuous use intention factor positively and significantly.
