Abstract:
When we look at today's technological developments, we see that the concepts of education and training differ in parallel with the interaction between people and computers. Thanks to the developing technology, more and more people have access to more information every day. The internet, which technology offers us, is an important technological revolution that allows people of all ages to easily meet their wishes and needs. The use of the internet and the educational environments to which it is connected is growing at a great pace today in Turkey as well as in the world. With the integration of technology in education, it is aimed to get the best and highest quality efficiency from education by keeping up with the age, open to change, innovation and development at any time. For this purpose, the development of distance education systems, the increase of internet-based applications, the use of multimedia-based systems and usability studies in the field of educational technologies have started to become widespread. In this context, a digital education platform EBA (Education and Information Network) was established by the Ministry of National Education in order to communicate between teachers and students and to provide materials that they can use throughout their education, within the scope of the "FATİH (Movement to Increase Opportunities and Improve Technology) Project", which was developed in 2010 in order to ensure a higher quality and efficient education through the integration of technology. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the usability of EBA (Education and Information Network), which is a determining factor in increasing the quality and efficiency in education, on the intention of using the high school students within the scope of Human-Computer Interaction. The study group of the research consists of 452 randomly selected high school students studying in the 2020-2021 academic year in high schools affiliated to Antalya Directorate of National Education. Within the scope of the study, an online survey was developed as a data collection tool. The data obtained by the survey was analyzed using the SPSS program. It was seen that General Design Considerations and Learnability dimensions had a significant effect on secondary school students' Intention to Use EBA, while Content Design dimension did not have a significant effect. It is believed that the data obtained will contribute to the development of the EBA interface by sharing it with the Ministry of National Education.
